A Story with SAT Vocabulary

This is only a first draft, but I find that it is one of my best for being written so late at night. Writing is a passion of mine, and I will hopefully be posting stories regularly.
By no means do I wish to deprecate all young men when I say that one devious charmer holds no comparison to the rest. He is wild, with smooth dark hair and full rose colored lips, all the better to catch one’s eye. I met him late on the eve of new years, a time that I wish to deplore you not to share with anyone, for I did not feel the cool fabric of my pillow for passing words between him and I. We spoke until the sun peeped his head above the hills, finding many digressions for which to keep our conversation continuing. He has traveled across oceans vast and denounced despots and taken tea with queens. Even now when I close my eyes I imagine his journeys to the corners of the Earth. I am enchanted by him in all manners, however, my spirits are despondent for my mother and father, whom I respect greatly, would try greatly to deride me from my fascination with this worldly prince. If they were to know of my depravity, I would be held detached from the world and my beloved. Even with the terrible threat of never glimpsing the morning dew and the evening’s stars it is no deterrent to stop writing the exotic man of which I place my affections on. I do not hope to delineate my relationship between he/my parents as anything other than proper and I yet I know that not matter the didactic teachings of my society, I will follow my heart.
